Hyperbaric oxygen chambers at Aervita in Edina MN, the foundation of the Rapid Recovery Protocols

What Rapid Recovery Protocols Are.

Rapid Recovery Protocols are fixed length, fixed schedule courses of care built from the three recovery technologies in our Edina clinic: hyperbaric oxygen in our hard sided chambers, whole body red light on the ARRC LED bed, and Pulse PEMF. Each protocol pairs them in a set order and a set dose, so you are not deciding session by session whether to come in. You follow the calendar, we run the equipment, and a licensed Minnesota chiropractor directs the plan.

Protocols run from one week to twelve weeks and are priced about 30% below the same sessions booked one at a time. Every protocol begins with the $84 Initial Health Assessment, which is where we confirm the protocol fits your situation, screen for safety, and set the chamber pressure. Every protocol ends with a reassessment, and the shorter ones can be repeated when the reassessment supports it.

They are supportive care. They are not a treatment for any disease, and they do not replace the care you receive from your physician or surgeon. What they are is a plan, and for most people that is the missing piece.

Rapid Recovery Protocols are supportive care, not a diagnosis specific cure, but these are the situations that most often bring people to a protocol instead of single sessions. Every plan starts with the $84 Initial Health Assessment so the protocol fits you.

Your First Week on a Protocol

Rapid Recovery Protocols at Aervita are not punch cards. They are calendars. After your Initial Health Assessment, our team books every session in the protocol at once, so your week is mapped before you walk out the door. Hyperbaric sessions run about an hour at pressure with an IBUM certified technician present, red light sessions run about thirty minutes on the bed, and PEMF sessions run about twenty minutes with the paddles placed where your plan calls for them. Most people read, nap or just close their eyes. Nothing is invasive, there is no downtime, and you drive yourself home.

Initial Health Assessment

Everyone starts here. A forty minute exam with our doctor of chiropractic that reviews your history, screens for anything that would keep you out of the chamber, and confirms which protocol fits. If you have already been seen for the same concern, you can go straight to booking.

Your Protocol Calendar

We book the whole protocol in one sitting. You leave with every session on the calendar, the chamber pressure set for your situation, and the paddle or light placements written into your plan.

The Sessions

You change into chamber safe clothing, the pressure comes up gradually while you clear your ears, and then you breathe. Red light and PEMF sessions are stacked around the chamber time so most protocol days are done in about ninety minutes.

Reassessment

Every one of the Rapid Recovery Protocols ends with a reassessment against your baseline. If the shorter protocols earned a repeat, we say so. If the answer is that a protocol was not the right tool, we say that too and point you somewhere better.

What Patients Say About Recovering at Aervita

I have been working with the team at Aervita for several years now, and it is easily one of the most advanced and results driven wellness clinics in the Twin Cities. I have come in for everything from sports injuries, pulled muscles, and fracture recovery to performance optimization for races and endurance events, and they always create a personalized plan that actually moves the needle.

The care here is great. Dr Jaron and Dr Jordan Shilts are very knowledgeable and explain what is going on. State of the art clinic and up to date. Medical grade hyperbaric units as well.

Aervita was able to get me in for a hyperbaric chamber session right away after a consultation, which I really appreciated. The staff was super friendly and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process, and even adjusted the pressure when I briefly felt too much in my ears. These are the nicest HBOT chambers I have found in the Twin Cities.

I would highly recommend them to anybody dealing with or recovering from an injury, looking to try something new for recovery like red light therapy or hyperbaric oxygen treatment, or are just interested in learning more about their body and how to optimize their health!

The chambers are very comfortable and some of the only ones in the twin cities metro area that can accommodate higher pressures. Dr. Jordan, Dr. Jaron, and Dr. Natalie are super knowledgeable and I have learned so much from them in our conversations.

Rapid Recovery Protocols in Edina: Frequently Asked Questions

Rapid Recovery Protocols are fixed length courses of care that combine hyperbaric oxygen, whole body red light and Pulse PEMF in a set schedule and a set dose. We offer five: Acute Injury (one week), Concussion Recovery (one week), Surgery Prep and Recovery (two weeks), Neuropathy (eight weeks) and the Time Machine longevity protocol (twelve weeks). Each is directed by a licensed Minnesota chiropractor and priced about 30% below the same sessions booked one at a time.

Yes, if we have not seen you for this concern. The $84 Initial Health Assessment is a forty minute visit that screens for anything that would keep you out of the chamber, confirms the protocol fits, and sets your pressure. Existing patients who have already been assessed for the same issue can book the protocol directly.

Acute Injury and Concussion Recovery are $697 each, Surgery Prep and Recovery is $897, Neuropathy is $5,997 and the Time Machine is $7,997. Each price is about 30% below a la carte. You can pay in full, use a payment plan, or ask about third party financing.

The one and two week protocols can be repeated when the reassessment at the end supports it. If the problem is recurring rather than acute, we will say so and point you toward a better fit, which may be a membership, a package, or care outside our clinic.

Match the protocol to the situation, not the symptom list. A fresh injury points to Acute Injury, lingering post concussion symptoms to Concussion Recovery, a procedure on the calendar to Surgery Prep and Recovery, nerve symptoms in the feet or hands to Neuropathy, and healthy aging goals to the Time Machine. The assessment settles it if you are between two.

No. Protocols are supportive care built around recovery technologies. They are not a treatment or cure for any disease, and they do not replace the care you receive from your physician, surgeon or specialist. We coordinate with other doctors routinely and we write back to the ones who send us patients.

Hyperbaric sessions run about sixty to ninety minutes including pressurization, red light sessions about thirty minutes, and PEMF sessions about twenty minutes. On days that stack all three, plan on about ninety minutes in the clinic.

Yes. Our clinic at 4820 W 77th Street in Edina serves Minneapolis, St. Paul, Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Minnetonka, Richfield and the wider Twin Cities and western Wisconsin. Protocols are daily or near daily, so most patients live or work within about forty minutes of the clinic.

Most days are a single visit. You arrive, change into chamber safe clothing, and settle into the chamber for your hyperbaric session while the pressure comes up slowly and you clear your ears. Depending on the protocol, a red light session on the ARRC bed or a Pulse PEMF session is stacked before or after it, so the whole visit runs a little over an hour on most days and closer to two on the longer ones. You leave with the next session already on the calendar. Rapid Recovery Protocols are built so that the only decision you make each day is to show up.

Yes, within reason. The schedule is the point, so we try to keep the sessions consecutive, but life happens. If you need to pause for a few days, tell the front desk as early as you can and we rebook the remaining sessions in one sitting so the rhythm holds. If you are unwell, stay home and call us, because chamber sessions are not run when you are congested or feverish. Rapid Recovery Protocols carry a use by window that we confirm when you purchase, and a short pause fits comfortably inside it.

No, the $84 Initial Health Assessment comes first and is billed separately. It is the forty minute exam where our doctor of chiropractic reviews your history, screens you for the chamber, and confirms which of the Rapid Recovery Protocols fits your situation or whether something else would serve you better. Every protocol price on this page assumes that assessment has already happened. Bundling it into the protocol would mean charging people for a plan before we know it is the right one.

Yes, and many patients do. Chiropractic visits, single sessions and memberships all run alongside the protocols, and the assessment is where we map how they fit together. The protocols are standardized courses of care built from hyperbaric oxygen, red light and PEMF, while chiropractic care and the practitioner directed programs are personalized to you. Rapid Recovery Protocols give the recovery work a fixed structure, and the rest of the clinic stays available when your goals call for more.

Curious why we package care this way instead of selling sessions one at a time? Recovery technologies reward consistency, and consistency is the thing most people cannot manage on their own. A protocol removes the decision: the schedule is set, the dose is set, and the reassessment is on the calendar before the first session begins. That structure is also what lets us price them about 30% below a la carte.

One more practical note: Rapid Recovery Protocols reward consistency more than intensity. The people who get the most out of a protocol are the ones who treat the calendar as fixed, show up for every session in the run, and then let the reassessment decide what comes next. Missing sessions in the middle of a one week protocol is the most common reason a protocol underdelivers, so if your week is unpredictable, tell us at the assessment and we will pick a start date that works.

And if you are still on the fence, start small. Book the $84 assessment, ask every question you have, and try a single hyperbaric, red light or PEMF session before committing to a full protocol. You will know quickly whether the clinic, the equipment and the team feel right, and the assessment carries over to any protocol you choose afterward.

Questions we did not cover here? Bring them to your assessment or send them through our contact page, where a real person reads every message. Whether a Rapid Recovery Protocol becomes part of your plan or not, we would rather you leave with a clear answer than a sales pitch.

Why Rapid Recovery Protocols Instead of Single Sessions

Single sessions of hyperbaric oxygen, red light or PEMF are available at Aervita, and for some situations they are the right call. Protocols exist for the situations where a single session was never going to be enough: a concussion that is weeks old, an injury with a return to play date, a surgery with a healing window, or nerve symptoms that have been building for years. In those cases the number of sessions and the spacing between them matter more than any single visit, and a protocol is the honest way to deliver that.

How We Track Whether a Protocol Is Working

Every protocol has a baseline and a reassessment. For concussion and acute injury that means a focused exam at the start and the end. For neuropathy it means a nerve symptom assessment. For the Time Machine it means measured markers at week zero and week twelve. If the reassessment shows the protocol earned a repeat, we tell you. If it shows the protocol was not the right tool, we tell you that too.

A scheduling tip from our front desk: protocols book best when you reserve the whole run at once. Daily hyperbaric slots go quickly, especially in the afternoon, so if your timeline is tight, call (952) 213-6386 the same day you decide.
