The Time Machine Protocol: 12 Weeks, 60 Hours of Oxygen, Measured Results
The Time Machine Protocol is sixty one hour hyperbaric oxygen sessions and twenty four red light sessions over twelve weeks at our Edina, Minnesota clinic, modeled on published research that went back and measured what happened at the cellular level. We will tell you exactly what those studies found, and exactly what they did not.
- 60 One Hour Hyperbaric Sessions
- 24 Red Light Sessions on the ARRC Bed
- 12 Weeks, Start to Finish
Measured, Not Marketed
Most anti aging offers ask you to take their word for it. This one is built on two trials out of Shamir Medical Center and Tel Aviv University that ran sixty daily hyperbaric sessions in adults sixty four and older, then went back and measured what changed.
The 2020 trial found telomere length in isolated immune cells rose roughly twenty to thirty eight percent, and senescent T helper cells fell about thirty seven percent. The 2021 trial took skin biopsies and found higher collagen density, elastic fiber fragmentation dropping from ninety percent of samples down to ten, and new blood vessel formation.
Straight with you: both trials used ninety minute sessions at two atmospheres in older adults. Ours runs sixty minutes. This protocol is modeled on that work, not a copy of it. Neither study measured wrinkles, and individual results vary.

I was dealing with post covid long haul symptoms of brain fog, depression, anxiety, and fatigue for 2.5 years and had just about given up before discovering what Aervita offered me.
Using their hyperbaric chamber and red light therapy bed, in just a couple of months I went from miserable to feeling like myself again. These guys know their stuff and I am very grateful for my regain in well being.
I highly recommend Aervita. I had 2 weeks of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy which was a wonderful experience as I was having breathing issues after Covid. The clinic itself is clean and the Doctors are friendly and clearly love helping and teaching others. Thank you!!
What the Twelve Weeks Include
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Sixty one hour sessions, five per week. Oxygen under pressure dissolves into your plasma and reaches tissue that ordinary breathing does not saturate the same way.
Red Light Therapy
Twenty four sessions on our ARRC LED bed, twice weekly. Six wavelengths across green, red and near infrared, absorbed by the mitochondria and studied for supporting cellular energy production.
Cut the Fluff, Build the Buff Guide
Your body composition and training companion for the twelve weeks, included with the protocol at no additional cost.
Who the Time Machine Protocol Is For
The Time Machine Protocol is not a symptom protocol. It is for people who feel the drift before a lab report names it, and who would rather do something structured about it than wait.
You Are Past Fifty and Would Rather Act
You are not sick. You can also tell that something has changed, and waiting has never been your strategy.
Your Labs Are Fine, You Are Not
Everything came back normal and you still feel a step slower than you used to. Normal is a range, not a target.
Recovery Takes Longer Than It Did
A hard week, a long flight or a heavy training block costs you more days on the back end than it once did.
Energy, Sleep and Skin Drifted Together
When several things slide at once, it usually points at something upstream of all of them rather than three separate problems.
You Have the Basics Handled
You sleep, train and eat reasonably well already. You are looking for the next layer, not a lecture on fundamentals.
You Want a Start and a Finish
A defined twelve week course with a number attached, not an open ended membership you forget to cancel.
How the Twelve Weeks Run
1. Initial Health Assessment
An $84 visit to confirm hyperbaric oxygen is appropriate for you, review your history and set a baseline we can measure against later. Required before the protocol begins.
2. Sixty Hours of Oxygen
Five one hour hyperbaric sessions per week for twelve weeks. Consistency is the active ingredient in the published protocol, which is why the schedule is fixed rather than flexible.
3. Twice Weekly on the ARRC Bed
Twenty four red light sessions across the twelve weeks. The shallower wavelengths reach the depth where collagen and elastin sit, the same tissue the hyperbaric skin trial measured.
4. Week Twelve Reassessment
We compare notes against your baseline and decide together what makes sense next, whether that is a maintenance rhythm, a Root Cause Program, or nothing at all.
Why Sixty Sessions and Not Ten
Because sixty is the dose the published protocol used. Shorter courses of hyperbaric oxygen have real value and we offer several of them, but this protocol exists specifically to follow the research design rather than a convenient package size.
It also runs on a fixed schedule for every patient. Same session count, same cadence, one bundled price. That is what makes the Time Machine Protocol a Rapid Recovery Protocol rather than a custom plan.
Time Machine Protocol Pricing
One bundled price for the full twelve weeks. Booked session by session, the same care would run $11,796.

Time Machine Protocol FAQ
What did the studies behind the Time Machine Protocol actually measure?
Telomere length and senescent cell counts in isolated immune cells in the 2020 trial, and skin biopsy findings in the 2021 trial: collagen density, elastic fiber fragmentation and new blood vessel formation. Both were run at Shamir Medical Center with Tel Aviv University and published in the journal Aging. Participants completed sixty daily sessions over roughly three months, with assessments before, during and after the course. The researchers chose markers that can be measured objectively in blood work and tissue samples, which is the same reason the Time Machine Protocol brackets your twelve weeks with an initial health assessment and a week twelve reassessment.
Is the Time Machine Protocol identical to the study?
No, and we would rather say so plainly. The trials used ninety minute sessions at two atmospheres in adults sixty four and older. Our sessions run sixty minutes. We modeled the structure, the session count and the daily cadence on that work. We did not replicate it, and we cannot promise you the same numbers.
Why does the Time Machine Protocol use sixty sessions?
Because that is the dose the published protocol used. Shorter courses have their place and we offer them. The Time Machine Protocol exists specifically to follow the research design, so the session count stays true to the trials rather than to a convenient package size.
Where does red light therapy fit in the Time Machine Protocol?
Hyperbaric oxygen works from the inside out through the bloodstream. Red and near infrared light works from the surface down, and the wavelengths on our ARRC bed reach the layer where collagen and elastin sit. The two are aimed at the same tissue from opposite directions. The two approaches complement each other, which is why the protocol includes both rather than asking you to choose. Sessions on the bed run about thirty minutes, twice weekly, and most people find them the easiest part of the twelve weeks.
Can I run this alongside a Root Cause Program?
Yes, and many people do. Our Cardiometabolic Program works the underlying terrain through lab work, nutrition and coaching. The Time Machine Protocol is the technology layer that sits on top of it.
What happens if I miss a week of the Time Machine Protocol?
Life happens. We work missed sessions back into your schedule wherever we can. The protocol is built around a twelve week window, so we would rather stretch it slightly than have you skip sessions altogether. The research the protocol is modeled on used a consistent daily cadence, so consistency matters more than perfection. Your schedule is set up front with our team, and weekday morning and afternoon chamber times keep it workable.
Is hyperbaric oxygen safe?
It is well tolerated by most people, and the initial health assessment exists to catch the situations where it is not appropriate. Ear pressure during descent is the most common complaint, and we coach you through clearing before your first session.
Do I have to be a current patient to start the Time Machine Protocol?
No. Everyone starts with the $84 initial health assessment, whether you have been here before or not. It is how we confirm the protocol is a reasonable fit for you. The assessment includes a review of your health history, your medications and your goals for the twelve weeks, and it is the point where all of your questions get answered before you commit to anything.
How is the Time Machine Protocol different from booking hyperbaric sessions on my own?
Three ways. The Time Machine Protocol is a fixed course with a defined start, a defined finish and a session cadence modeled on the published research, rather than an open ended punch card. It pairs the chamber work with twenty four sessions on the ARRC LED bed, which you would otherwise book separately. And it is bracketed by an initial health assessment and a week twelve reassessment, so you can see on paper where you started and where you finished.
Most patients book their chamber time as a standing daily slot, Monday through Friday, with weekends off. The twelve week window includes buffer for holidays and travel, and the front desk manages the calendar with you week by week.
Who should not start the Time Machine Protocol?
Anyone with an untreated pneumothorax should not enter a hyperbaric chamber, and certain ear, sinus, lung and eye conditions call for caution or clearance first. Some medications also matter. This is exactly what the initial health assessment screens for. If the Time Machine Protocol is not a reasonable fit, we will tell you plainly and point you toward what makes more sense for your situation.
