Every new patient at Aervita, no matter what brought you here, begins with the Initial Health Assessment: a 40 minute, $84 visit with one of our doctors. It is not a sales appointment and it is not a full exam. It is the conversation that makes everything after it make sense.
We listen to what you have been dealing with and what you have already tried. The doctor reviews your history, screens you for safety with every therapy we offer, and tells you plainly which of our three paths fits your situation, what it would cost, and what you can expect. If the right answer is that Aervita is not the right fit, we will tell you that too.
We Listen
The first half is yours. Tell us what is going on, how long it has been going on, and what you have already tried. The doctor asks the questions that matter and takes real notes.
We Screen for Safety
A focused review of your history and current medications so every therapy we might recommend, from hyperbaric oxygen to acupuncture, is safe for you specifically.
We Recommend a Path
The doctor explains which of our three paths fits you and why: starting therapies right away, chiropractic, acupuncture and bodywork, or functional medicine.

Choose Your Path
After your assessment, your doctor recommends one of three paths. Paths can be combined or changed at any time.
Path A
Therapies
Start HBOT, PEMF or red light therapy right after your assessment. Sessions and packages are matched to your goals, and clinical care is available any time you want it.
Path B
Chiropractic, Acupuncture and Bodywork
Begins with the Initial Chiropractic Evaluation (45 minutes), a hands on exam focused on your case, with findings explained in plain language before care starts.
Path C
Functional Medicine
Begins with the Initial Functional Medicine Evaluation (60 minutes), a deeper look at your history and labs to uncover what is driving your symptoms.

Transparent From the First Visit.
The Initial Health Assessment is $84. After that, what you pay depends on the path your doctor recommends: therapy sessions and packages for HBOT, PEMF and red light, the Initial Chiropractic Evaluation for chiropractic, acupuncture and bodywork, or the Initial Functional Medicine Evaluation for functional medicine. Every price is listed on our Pricing page, and your doctor walks you through the numbers before anything is scheduled.
Aervita is a cash pay clinic, which keeps our pricing simple and our visits unhurried. We do not bill health insurance, with the exception of Minnesota auto accident claims. HSA and FSA cards are accepted, and we can provide the documentation you need to seek out of network reimbursement where your plan allows. Medicare patients are welcome for every service except spinal adjustments.
How to Prepare for Your First Visit.
There is very little to do. Book, bring what you have, and show up ready to talk.
1. Book Online
Pick a time that works in our online calendar. You will get a confirmation by email and a link to complete your intake forms before you arrive, so your visit is spent talking, not filling out paperwork.
2. Bring the Useful Things
A list of current medications and supplements, any recent labs or imaging, and the questions you want answered. If you have none of these, come anyway.
3. Come As You Are
No special clothing, no fasting, no preparation required. Plan on about 40 minutes with the doctor and a few minutes at the front desk.
New Patient Questions, Answered.
Not as a new patient. Aervita is a doctor led clinic, so every patient is evaluated before any therapy begins. The good news is that the assessment is quick, $84, and for most therapy patients it is the only step before their first session. Once you are an established patient you can book sessions directly through the Patient Portal.
No. You can book the Initial Health Assessment yourself. If you were referred by one of our Wellness Partners, bring your referral card so we can apply the partner perk to your first HBOT session.
We do not bill health insurance, with one exception: Minnesota auto accident (personal injury) claims. HSA and FSA cards are accepted, and we can provide documentation for out of network reimbursement where your plan allows. Medicare patients are welcome for every service except spinal adjustments.
No. The assessment ends with a recommendation and the price of that recommendation. Nothing is scheduled or charged until you decide, and single sessions are always available. Packages and memberships exist because they save regular patients money, not because you have to buy one.
That is common. Many patients combine therapies with chiropractic or functional medicine care. Your doctor will tell you what to start with and what can wait, so you are never doing more than you need to at once.
Therapy patients can often have their first HBOT, PEMF or red light session the same week, sometimes the same day if the schedule allows. Chiropractic, acupuncture and functional medicine patients book their evaluation visit next, usually within a week or two.
Plan on about 40 minutes with the doctor plus a few minutes at the front desk. If you complete your intake forms online beforehand, the visit is almost entirely conversation.
Yes. Your plan is rechecked as your body responds, and paths can be combined or changed at any point. Nothing you choose at the start locks you in.
