Meet The Providers
Dr. Jaron Faber, DC, MS, FMHC
Owner
After earning his B.S. in Biology from the University of Minnesota Duluth, Dr. Jaron set his sights on pharmacy school. But time spent working at one of the country’s highest-volume pharmacies quickly changed his path — watching dosages climb and patients get sicker made it clear that something fundamental was missing from modern healthcare. When he was reintroduced to chiropractic care around that same time, the philosophy clicked: give the body and mind the right environment, and they’re remarkably good at healing themselves. He turned down his pharmacy school offers and committed instead to a doctorate focused more on health accumulation rather than symptom suppression.
During chiropractic school, Dr. Jaron logged more than 500 post-doctoral hours studying alongside leading experts in musculoskeletal pain, sleep, nutrition, blood and brain chemistry, anti-aging, gut health, methylation, and genetics. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Doctor of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University, completed a Masters in Exercise Science, and earned his Functional Medicine Hyperbaric Certification (FMHC) through the International Board of Undersea Medicine. He opened the doors in 2020, rebranded the practice as Aervita in 2025, and assumed full ownership in 2026. Along the way, his work has been featured in local magazines and on KARE 11, and he’s built ongoing relationships with professional sports organizations and respected doctors across the country. When he isn’t deep in the latest research on nutrition and lifestyle, you’ll find him “up at the cabin,” hunting, watching football, working on home projects, traveling, or spending time with friends and family — all in service of a simple mission: help the metro community get as healthy as possible, in the least amount of time possible.

The Vision
To be the breath of life in modern healthcare.
We envision a world where people don’t just “get by,” but feel truly alive, energetic, and renewed. At Aervita, we are setting a new standard for what it means to live well at any age — shifting the focus from surviving to thriving.
Our Mission
Replace reactive treatment with proactive vitality.
We advance the frontier of functional longevity by integrating cutting-edge technology with a collaborative approach — breathing new life into the patient journey through evolving clinical protocols and synergistic medical partnerships.
Our Philosophy
Proactive by design.
Health is something to be actively created, not just managed when it breaks. While traditional medicine often waits for a diagnosis, Aervita is built for those who refuse to wait: we serve as the lead architect for patients driven to function at their peak, using advanced diagnostics and technology to optimize biology before problems arise.
A bridge, not an island.
The best outcomes are born from teamwork. Aervita is designed to be a synergistic hub within the medical community — working alongside surgeons, oncologists, and neurologists to provide the restorative foundation that makes specialized care more effective. We don’t just see patients; we build an ecosystem of care around them.

Our Story: Why Aervita Integrative Medicine Exists
Aervita literally means “a breath of life” — and that is exactly what we set out to bring to healthcare in Edina, MN. Our clinic was built around a simple conviction: your health deserves more attention than a rushed annual physical and a handful of numbers can provide. We believe care should be proactive, personal, and grounded in meaningful data about you.
In much of American healthcare, “healthy” simply means “no diagnosis yet.” You visit once a year, a few basic labs come back in range, and you are sent on your way until something breaks. Our founder, Dr. Jaron Faber, DC, MS, FMHC, saw how often that model leaves people feeling tired, inflamed, and dismissed — and decided to build something different.
That something is Aervita: an integrative medicine clinic where advanced diagnostics, functional medicine, chiropractic care, and technology-driven therapies like hyperbaric oxygen, PEMF, and photobiomodulation work together under one roof. Instead of waiting for disease, we look for the earliest signs that your body needs support — then build a plan to address them.
The result is a clinic designed for people who refuse to settle for “getting by.” Whether you come to us for recovery, resilience, or long-term vitality, everything about Aervita — from our team to our tools — exists to help you feel truly alive.
Why “Hyperbarics” Is in Our Name
Our full name is Aervita Integrative Medicine + Hyperbarics, and the second half is not decoration. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy has grown into one of the largest parts of our practice — a large share of the patients who walk through our door are referred to us specifically for it by physicians, surgeons, and specialists across the Twin Cities.
The reason is how we deliver it. We run medical-grade, higher-pressure chambers built by OxyHealth, the world’s leading hyperbaric manufacturer — and we apply them through a functional-medicine lens: protocols chosen by our doctors around your case, paired with labs and adjunct therapies when they genuinely help, and tracked against stated goals rather than run on autopilot. Oxygen under pressure is a simple idea; delivering it with top-tier equipment and current, evidence-informed protocols is what earned it a place in our name.

What Integrative Medicine Means at Aervita
Integrative medicine combines the best of conventional healthcare — thorough exams, lab work, imaging, and medical collaboration — with evidence-informed complementary therapies that support the body’s own capacity to heal. Rather than treating a symptom in isolation, an integrative medicine approach looks at the whole person: movement, nutrition, sleep, stress, environment, and the underlying physiology connecting them. The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health describes this as bringing conventional and complementary approaches together in a coordinated way — and coordination is exactly what we practice.
Integrative Medicine vs. Conventional Care
Conventional care is excellent at handling acute problems and diagnosed disease — and we never ask you to give it up. What integrative medicine adds is everything that happens before and between diagnoses: identifying patterns in your labs and lifestyle, supporting recovery, and helping you build resilience so fewer problems arise in the first place. Think of it as adding a proactive layer on top of the reactive system you already know.
Integrative Medicine vs. Functional Medicine
The two overlap heavily, and at Aervita we practice both. Functional medicine is a root-cause framework — it uses detailed testing to ask why a symptom exists. Integrative medicine is the broader umbrella: it blends that root-cause thinking with hands-on care and technology-driven therapies, then coordinates it all with the rest of your medical team. In practice, your plan at Aervita may draw on both at once.
How Our Integrative Medicine Team Works With You
Every patient relationship at Aervita starts the same way: with a real conversation. Our Initial Health Assessment is a 40-minute, $84 consultation with one of our doctors. We review your history and goals, screen for safety, answer your questions, and map out which of our services — if any — actually fit your situation. No pressure, no pre-written script.
From there, your doctor builds a personalized plan. That may include chiropractic care, hyperbaric oxygen sessions, PEMF, red light therapy, functional medicine testing, or a combination — sequenced deliberately rather than sold as a bundle. As your body responds, we re-evaluate and adjust. Integrative medicine done well is iterative: measure, support, re-measure.
And because we believe the best outcomes come from teamwork, we operate as a bridge, not an island. We regularly coordinate with our patients’ physicians, surgeons, and specialists so that the restorative foundation we build makes every other treatment more effective.
The Services Behind Our Integrative Medicine Care
Aervita brings together a focused set of therapies chosen for one reason: they complement each other. Our services include hyperbaric oxygen therapy, chiropractic care, PEMF therapy, functional medicine, integrative massage therapy, and our neuropathy protocol.
Curious how these therapies fit together? Two good places to start: our free HBOT guide explains hyperbaric oxygen therapy in plain language, and our memberships page shows how patients combine services month to month for ongoing care.
About Aervita: Integrative Medicine Questions, Answered
What is integrative medicine?
Integrative medicine is a coordinated approach that combines conventional healthcare — exams, labs, imaging, and collaboration with your physicians — with evidence-informed complementary therapies. The goal is to care for the whole person and support the body’s own healing capacity, rather than only managing isolated symptoms. At Aervita, that coordination happens under one roof, led by doctors.
Is integrative medicine evidence-based?
The therapies we offer are chosen because published research has explored their mechanisms and applications, and we are transparent about what the evidence does and does not show. We hedge where the science is still developing, we avoid hype, and we never position any therapy as a cure. If a service is not a reasonable fit for your situation, we will tell you so at your assessment.
What can integrative medicine help with?
Patients come to us for many reasons: recovery support, chronic discomfort, low energy, stress-related concerns, and a desire to invest proactively in long-term health. Research has explored the therapies we use across a wide range of wellness applications. Because every situation is different, the honest answer for you comes from an Initial Health Assessment, where a doctor reviews your history and goals directly.
Do I need a referral to become a patient?
No referral is needed. Anyone can book an Initial Health Assessment directly through our online booking calendar, or by calling or texting (952) 213-6386. Many patients are referred by other practitioners, but plenty simply find us on their own.
Do you accept insurance?
Aervita operates primarily as a cash-pay clinic, which keeps our pricing transparent and lets your doctor recommend what actually fits your goals rather than what a policy covers. We can provide documentation you may submit to your insurer or HSA/FSA administrator; reimbursement depends on your individual plan.
What happens at my first visit?
Your first visit is the Initial Health Assessment — a 40-minute, $84 consultation with one of our doctors. You will review your health history and goals, get screened for safety across our services, have your questions answered, and leave with a recommended plan. It is a conversation, not a commitment.
Who leads care at Aervita?
Care is doctor-led. Dr. Jaron Faber, DC, MS, FMHC founded the clinic and practices alongside Dr. Natalie Schumacher, DC, CFMP. Both bring advanced training in functional medicine on top of their chiropractic doctorates, which is what allows Aervita to combine hands-on care with lab-informed, whole-person planning.
Will you replace my primary care doctor?
No — and we would not want to. Aervita is designed to be a bridge, not an island. We complement the care you receive from your physician and specialists, and with your permission we are glad to coordinate with them. Integrative medicine works best when your whole care team is rowing in the same direction.
